Månestråle was founded 2002 in Copenhagen, Denmark. Marise Östergaard designer and founder of the brand thought that it was missing a brand who fully concentrated on knitwear.

The result is a beautiful line consisting of a men and women´s products were the keypieces often are made by 100% cashmere. Månestråle also offers a t-shirt line which is called Simple t-shirts.

Production is based on pima cotton and a mix of modal and cotton and the items has a perfect fit. All production is made on the beautiful island of Mauritius.
